In 1985, Jim Mellody dreamed up the idea of a neighborhood pub where friends and families could gather to enjoy good food and sports in a comfortable friendly atmosphere. Together, with his wife Jeanette, they embellished the Brady family name to arrive at the unlikely, yet likable name Beef'O'Brady's.

His love of sports inspired him to offer as many games as possible to his customers, so he invested in Tv's and satellite dishes. He covered the walls with authentic sports memorbilia he collected and graced his menu with an Irish Blessing that symbolized the Irish tradition of happy times.

Today, there are Beefs popping up all over Florida and the southeast. Call it the "Luck of the Irish," with one good dream and a lot of hard work thrown in. We at Brooksville Beef'O'Bradys strive to uphold Jim's dream and provide our customers with a warm and memorable experience.

Each week Beef O'Brady's claims to serve more than 500,000 hot wings -- at two wings per chicken, well, you do the math. This sports pub offers a family vibe but enough big screens and beer to appeal to grown-up armchair athletes, too. Televisions (tuned to ESPN and FoxSports) stare from every wall.
